Waiata Anthems Week 2021: Sons of Zion "He Aroha Hinemoa"

Sept. 8, 2021, 3 p.m.

Joel Latimer (Ngāti Kahu, Ngāpuhi) plays the keyboard, produces and writes music for the band Sons of Zion, who have a new song in te reo Māori as part of Waiata Anthems Week 2021. This is now the second time Sons of Zion have taken part in this kaupapa by translating one of their songs into te reo Māori and they were excited to be involved again. All members of the band are of Māori decent and really want to continue to contribute towards the normalisation of te reo Māori in Aotearoa.
