Te Tai Tokerau Rugby League Ready to Kick Off Again!

Sept. 9, 2021, 1:48 p.m.

After the recent lockdown, the TRL board met and decided to start the competition again by going straight into the premiership finals and the championship finals. With consensus and advice from NZRL (New Zealand Rugby League), the competition will start again on the 25th September 2021. Taking into consideration the Level 2 restrictions of 100 people at an outside event, the TRL have learnt from last year bringing in the Taitokerau Boarder Control and police to help with the finals at the Pawarenga Broncos home grounds.
