There has been an increase of Covid cases amongst the Māori communities within South Auckland with 10 new cases which brings Māori to the second highest ethnicity in New Zealand to be affected by the Delta outbreak. Just recently there was a big gap between the Asian and Pākeha communities but now Māori have passed them. That being said Dr Rawiri says it was a good decision for Auckland to remain in Alert Level 4
