Rito Tapuke of Te Atiawa, Ngāti Mutunga, Taranaki Iwi, Ngāti Tama and Ngāti Paoa speaks to us about nominating whānau for this year's Ahuwhenua Young Farmers Award. This is an award in recognition of those young Māori men and women working hard on the sheep and beef farms either raising the animals or growing trees and so on. The award was inaugurated ten years ago and is designed to recognise the achievements of those young ones working in the farming and horticulture sectors.
