Vaccination Prevents Long Covid

Oct. 4, 2021, 1:45 p.m.

Dr Anna Brooks is a specialist in immunization at the University of Auckland and has been focusing on the Covid-19 prevention. Past studies show that people who have contracted Covid and were not vaccinated continue to have ongoing underlying health issues (but they are not quite sure why). Dr Brooks admits that there is still so much uncertainty around Covid-19, however what she is certain about is that the vaccine works as examples have clearly shown nationally and internationally. The other important issue that she is certain of is that it is simply a matter of time that we all will contract Covid-19 at some point.
