Ngāti Kurī Shuts Gates to Te Hāpua

A hui was held with the haukāinga and attended by every whānau based in Te Hāpua. Looking at how they will be affected by community transmission and priorities for the iwi when the pandemic does hit the iwi of Ngāti Kurī. Vaccinations remain the main focus to protect the whānau, however as every community is experiencing some whānau just don't want to get vaccinated. Sheridan Waitai of Ngāti Kurī shares that much was discussed and whānau feel more assured.
