Noho Whenua Underway for Ngāti Kahu

With the news that Taipa point is up for auction on 24 November various hapū and whānau of Ngāti Kahu have set up an occupation on that whenua with the main focus to cease the selling of the whenua and have the whenua made available for future generations of Ngāti Kahu.

Janelle Popata provides a brief kōrero about the kaupapa that has currently been set with the intention to have the land at Taipa Point returned to Ngāti Kahu.
