Since the cutting of the pōhutakawa tree in Ahipara, much of the history has been raised about that particular piece of whenua including the name of whenua. The whānau occupying the whenua have referred to this whenua as Moringai, however Penetaui Kleskovic shares some kōrero on why he believes the correct name of the whenua is actually Moringaehe.
