Update on Occupation at Moringaehe, Ahipara

The objective remains the same to have the land returned to the hapū and whānau affiliated to to the whenua of Moringaehe. Hine Te Waipuna Popata provides an update on the occupation and shares some kōrero about the mahi that is being done by the whānau on the whenua and behind the scenes to have the land returned. There has been much support for the occupation with different people dropping off kai and offering to help where possible. During Alert Level 3 a strict bubble of whānau has been confirmed to continue the occupation and they ask that whānau respect these restrictions.
