Supposed Trespass on Moringaehe

The whānau who have maintained the occupation at Moringaehe, Ahipara were informed that they would be served with an official trespass notice on Monday 15 November, 2021. Today Rueben Taipari tells us that no authorities arrived at Moringaehe to serve a notice and that the whānau remain on the whenua with no intentions to leave until the land is returned. Rueben also says while occupying the whenua, they will continue mahi with the pōhutakawa tree and other areas of significance, including the moana.
