No Smoking with Children in Your Waka

To limit children’s exposure to second-hand smoke, it will be illegal from 28 November to smoke and vape in a vehicle that has children and young people (under 18 years old) in it - whether the vehicle is moving or not. Paora Brosnan of Hāpai ye Hauora joins us to share some of main messaging around this new law. The major benefit being the health and wellbeing of our tamariki. Brosnan speaks about the stage of which our tamariki are still developing including their lungs which can be highly impacted by second hand smoking.
