Green Party Seek Post-Enactment Review of Covid Bill

Nov. 25, 2021, 1:16 p.m.

Due to time restrictions and urgency, the Covid Bill was passed in Parliament within only 24 hours. The Green Party and others supported the bill be passed, however Green Party MP Dr Elizabeth Kerekere talks to us about the need to conduct a post-enactment review of the Covid Bill. Dr Kerekere says she tried to pass a motion, but the Government decided that they wouldn't even let her read it out and now intends on taking it to the House Select Committee that she is on to pass the motion for this review as the Select Committee itself can choose to do that review.
