Prepare for Borders to Open

Dec. 9, 2021, 1:27 p.m.

Tāmaki Makaurau have been in lockdown for over one hundred days now but soon the borders will be opening allowing people to travel outside of the city. Rukuwai Tīpene-Allen gives us an update from the Beehive in Wellington about the Traffic Light System and the borders opening up to Te Tai Tokerau. Rukuwai raises the issue that Māori have not received the information sort from the Government (otherwise known as the modelling data that shows the details of people and areas effected by the Covid-19 virus). Rukuwai encourages everyone to make preparations for when the borders open.
