Create a Covid Response Plan

Thousands leaving Tāmaki Makaurau now that the borders have opened for travel after just over a hundred days in lockdown. We speak with Waikato DHB director of Pacific Health Tamati Peni to provide an update on how the district is progressing with the vaccination and Covid-19 case rates in the Waikato district. We ask Tamati whether there has been any noticeable increases since the opening of the borders and the focus for the Christmas and summer period. Tamati continues to encourage whānau to establish a Covid response plan to ensure everyone is as prepared as possible for the likely spread of the current Delta outbreak.
