Amendment to the Resource Management Act

Jan. 13, 2022, 1:38 p.m.

As many make the return back to work and some to study, we draw focus on the priorities and major kaupapa for 2022. Kylie Brown joins us from Wellington sharing a little about her summer period of which she spent in the Wellington region rather than returning to the Far North to reconnect with whānau. Areas like Auckland had opened the borders for travel, however many just like Kylie chose to remain in the cities where they live and work to minimise any potential for spread during the holiday period. Kylie also talks about a major focus at the moment in Parliament being the amendment of the Resource Management Act (RMA) including the Crown-Iwi Relations that will be progressed this year.
