Renovations to Commence on 140 Year Old Church

A historical church in Ahipara will finally begin renovations after many years of trying to raise funds for the renovations. John Paitai shares the history of St Clement Church and why it took so many years for this project to commence. John says that the renovations are scheduled to start next month in February and plan to be completed by June 2022. The renovations will include asbestos removal as well as a full rebuild of the church of which John says is over 140 years old and will cost around $700,000 to complete.
