Funding Boost for Māori and Pacific Covid Response

With the forecast increase in daily positive Covid-19 cases in Aotearoa we can also expect the extra pressure on the health services to provide support to the public. Tūmamao Harawira joins us from Tamaki Makaurau to talk about the current situation in Tamaki with the public outbreak of Omicron daily cases just under two thousand. Māori health services have played a major role in supporting some of the most vulnerable communities and Tūmamao talks about the Minister for Whānau Ora and Associate Minister of Health injecting further funds into Māori health providers to assist with the Covid-19 response services
