Allana Goldsmith is a highly regarded Māori jazz artist from Te Tai Rawhiti who performs waiata in both English and Māori languages. We are lucky enough to have Allana join us to share not only about her new waiata Tō Ihu but also her inspiration for jazz music. Allana says while growing up, it was singers like Billy Holiday and others of that error who captured her interest in jazz.
