As COVID-19 continues to impact our daily lives some recent concerns have been the education and schooling of our tamariki. We are joined by Pat Newman, president of the Tai Tokerau Principals Association to discuss the 350% of homeschool applications recently approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and potential consequences this may have on the schools as well as the students. Pat believes in the homeschooling system. However, he also believes it requires some major commitment from the parents for it to work.
