Māori Housing Renewable Energy Fund

Minister Peeni Henare gives an update on the Māori Housing Renewable Energy Fund that was initiated in 2020 to improve energy affordability and create warm energy-efficient homes. This fund will focus on installing renewable energy technology for Māori housing while seeking funding for supplementary measures that improve energy efficiency and maximise the gains of generating renewable energy at a local level.
