Changes to Vaccine Mandates

This week the Government announced some significant changes to the vaccine mandate for education, police and defence workforces and businesses operating vaccine passes. From the 4th of April vaccination will not be a mandatory requirement to work in these sectors. PM Jacinda Ardern also announced "vaccine passes will no longer be required as part of the Covid-19 protection framework" although businesses can still ask customers to provide vaccination passports. A review of the current red light system will take place on 4th of April.
