For the first time in 2 years, Matthew Tukaki was able to return to Australia - as many others did with the reduced restrictions regarding international travel. Whilst away he met with the Sydney Marae Alliance who have started the controversial conversation to establish a marae in Australia for the multitudes of Māori living overseas. Many have chimed in on this conversation including the Aboriginal people and Māori in Aotearoa and Australia. He also touches on David Seymour's call to have a referendum on co-governance. Tukaki shares his views on this referendum, the ACT Party and political exploits as we approach elections.
