April 7, 2022, 1:52 p.m.

Haukāinga has been a project within Te Hiku Media for over 6 years that has enhanced the Māori worldview through news and journalism.

Haukāinga has produced many kaupapa including Te Hiku Media's very first live stream in Te Aurere with Sir Hector Busby and has developed over the years to bring to you your favourite kaupapa including Kapa Haka, Manu Kōrero, Hākinakina and by upholding tikanga Māori first and foremost - stepped into a new era of broadcasting tangihanga to provide closure for whānau abroad.

Haukura Jones talks about kaupapa ahead of the Haukāinga team including a new show Whitiwhiti, news stories and wānanga that is detrimental to sustaining our culture.
