Police Aotearoa are always keen to recruit a broad base of young New Zealanders including a particular focus on women, Māori, and Pasifika which will help the police to be responsive to the needs of all from Aotearoa. Tui Baker of Te Rarawa talks about her recent graduation from the Royal New Zealand Police College (RNZPC) and expresses how proud she is of this achievement for her and her whānau. A big inspiration for Tui has been her husband who is already with the police based in Kaitaia and hopes to inspire her tamariki, wider whānau and past students that if you have a dream and you work hard towards it, you can make those dreams.
