Te Ikanui Kingi Waiaua says Ngāti Kahu is holding wānanga with kaumātua and kuia on marae across the rohe to discuss tikanga and te reo Māori. Kingi Waiaua says it is of great importance to capture language examples and tikanga in order to preserve the authenticity of Ngāti Kahu tikanga and reo.
He says it will be a resource for taitamariki who are interested in Ngāti Kahu tikanga and reo.
