Peter-Lucas Jones says iwi members have moved to the cities and across the world and reo irirangi Māori connects those across the globe with news, current affairs, pūrākau and mātauranga from the kāinga.

Radio Ngāti Porou Manager, Erana Reedy says reo irirangi is 'mahi wairua'. She says Radio Ngāti Porou continues to grow and taking the station into the online space is a natural progression.
