Jaqi Brown (Taitokerau) has been apart of many kaupapa that have benefited Te Hiku o Te Ika. Recently putting forward kaupapa like Te Hiku Revitalisation for shovel ready projects to enhance the beauty of our kāinga.

She expresses that Te Hiku needs to be heard and there's mahi to be done for our haukāinga. Government agencies, like Te Waka Kōtahi, need to prioritize us to be able to create better infrastructure for this area.
