Mary Jane Manukau (Te Rarawa) has stepped away from nursing, moved onto drainage and came home to Kaitaia to retire. However, she opened the Kaitaia Vintage Tea Room and has now expanded onto Seafood Boils.

Her love and passion for kai is what inspired her to carry on her mahi here in Te Hiku o Te Ika.
