Tamati Peni (Waikato) believes the Māori Health Authority has the opportunity to be prosperous. "Our kaumātua fought for kaupapa like this, to have our mana motuhake recognised" says Peni.

Although Covid 19 and its dangers are on the back burner, Peni says "Utilising skills learnt from the covid framework can assist in the future of health care."
