Peter-Lucas Jones (Ngai Takoto, Ngāti Kahu, Te Aupouri) says "everyday Te Hiku Media is dedicated to expanding our pātaka that contains kōrero from our kāinga." Utilising Ngā Taonga Sound and Vision to digitalise archival material stretching back over 30 years.

Jones says "it's important also that we support our people in becoming producers with the knowledge to do this type of mahi."
