"Homestead" Airing October 10th

Kimiora Kaire-Melbourne (Tūhoe) produced the show 'Homestead' that takes a look at the homes that many of the whānau grew up in. Following the stories of the ahikā and the stories of the whānau that have moved away from home. This show take a intimate look at the homes that raised many whānau.

Airing on October 10th, the series takes a look at the homesteads of whanau around the motu, with episode 2 looking at the Mākiha whanau in Waimā and the tikanga held in these areas.
