'Aotearoa New Zealand, Our Story' is directed by award-winning Rotorua filmmaker Mike Jonathan (Tainui, Te Arawa, Mātaatua) and "proudly celebrates the spirit of New Zealand's Māori heritage". Yesterday (Wed, 12 Oct) the 3-minute mini film, in te reo Māori, was released to showcase the real Aotearoa.
Downs says, "we want to talk about how New Zealand is a place where our values are very important" and wants to encapsulate that in this video.
