The Parihaka BioBlitz provides an opportunity for people, community groups and environmental organisations to be apart of eight interactive sessions along the Parihaka Reserve (Whangārei) where they will learn about its complex biodiversity and how to protect it. Urban Conservation Project Manager Dai Morgan is encouraging people to head along to the Parihaka 'BioBlitz' day which is taking place on Saturday the 5th of November, from 7am to 2pm along the Parihaka Reserve near the Mair Park Bridge in Whangārei.
