Te Taumata o Kupe Learning Centre Opens In Auckland

In this interview, our host Joel Bristow speaks with Shane Jones about the opening of this centre at Te Mahurehure.

Shane said during his time as a Minister (2017-2020) he supported the Manea Footprints of Kupe project and the Taumata o Kupe project with funding through the Provincial Growth Fund.

He shares about the significance of the rimurimu and the peruperu in ancient Māori history and some of the kōrero from Rereata Makiha.
