The Three Waters Project was one of the main topics of discussion at this year's National Iwi Chairs Forum held in Waitangi. Ahorangi Makere Mutu attended the event with a few concerns and came away convinced that there is an undercurrent of systemic racism over Māori co-governing water management on a local government level.
