Huhana Lyndon: Anti-Trans Movements Are Not Welcome in Aotearoa

March 27, 2023, 11 a.m.

Thousands turned out at Albert Park in Auckland to protest the rights of transgender people in Aotearoa. Gender activist Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull, also known as Posie Parker, attempted to bring the Let Women Speak tour to locations in Auckland and Wellington, with some labelling the event as an "Anti-trans" roadshow. Ngātiwai Trust Board CEO Huhana Lyndon attended the rally to show her support for the transgender community of Aotearoa.
