Opportunity after opportunity would best describe former Black Fern champion Rawinia Everitt's journey to becoming the new head coach for Semco Northland Kauri, starting her official tenure in April. Everitt returned home to Te Taitokerau five years ago, bringing with her a vision to grow the sport of rugby on a grassroots level. Native Sports Performance was established by Everitt, a kaupapa dedicated to providing new opportunities for Far North communities to connect through sport, which is still ongoing today.
Northland's six-monthly tsunami siren test will take place at the end of daylight saving on Sunday, 2 April.
