Modelling cases for a second outbreak could help prevent them

Prof Shaun Hendy expalins some of the mahi Te Pūnaha Matatini are doing to model the effects of contract tracing in second outbreak scenarios. By considering how different communiteies socialise, they hope to provide more accurate models for different demographics. Much of the policies implemented by government are for all New Zealanders, but differences in wealth, culture, and where the live all affect the transmission rates of COIVD19.
