Need for Māori to become self reliant

Heeni Hoterene shares her kōrero on teaching rangatahi how to become self sufficient, this means teaching them life skills like planting and growing kai. In Lockdown whānau were struggling - where as if we were able to gather our own kai a lot of the stress of feeding our whānau wouldn't lead to substance abuse and mental health.
