Tangaroa Ngaropo: Connecting Māori To Their Identity

The Ngā Ngaru o Tai Timu Tai Pari program, funded by Ngāti Hine Health Trust, aims to strengthen the identity within by providing additional healthcare and support to those experiencing mild to moderate mental health and addiction issues through a Te Āo Māori lens. Tangaroa Ngaropo-Tāwio is the pou tīkanga (advisor) for the Hokianga area overseeing the cultural aspect of the Ngā Ngaru o Tai Timu Tai Pari program.
