Census Vital for Māori Communities

Māori leaders are encouraging whānau to complete the Census forms in an effort to accurately detail communities. Len Bristowe (Ngāti Hine) says that under-representation is the main reason voices are not heard. With accurate information, we have a better chance in receiving sufficient resources for hāpori Māori.
