Te Hiku Media with their strategic partners are developing a multilingual language platform that will build natural language processing tools ensuring the presence of languages with low resources in the digital landscape.
You will be part of a Data Team that focuses on analysing te reo Māori acoustic data and Māori text data to support the development of natural language processing tools. As part of the project, this team will ensure we have ‘clean’, quality data. This means ensuring it is correctly labelled, the appropriate metadata is tagged and will provide the machine learning team with the best data to work with.
These positions are part-time and are flexible, with approximately 20 hours per week.
