Te Hiku Iwi Growing Sustainable Employment Opportunities

Led by Te Rarawa, the launch of TUPU as a collaborative effort by all the iwi of Te Hiku o Te Ika as an employment solution providing mahi, development, training, security, hope and advancement for our people impacted by unemployment.

20 new employees have been appointed for this year long programme of work and training with in the horticultural industry.

The kaimahi will also be supported to transition into permanent roles in the horticulture industry, including management and self-employment.
