Polynesian Panthers Educate to Liberate

In the hopes of stamping out racism in all forms, four of the original Polynesian Panthers are currently touring Far North holding workshops, Educate to Liberate! 50 years ago in 1971, Auckland was rife with racial and social inequalities which gave birth to groups like the Polynesian Panthers, Ngā Tamatoa and ACORD (Auckland Committee on Racism and Discrimination) The group that is touring are educating people sharing their struggles with colonisation, racism, inequalities and experiences from their home Islands before their families migrated to NZ.
