Vaccination in Te Hiku

Sept. 1, 2021, 1:40 p.m.

Te Hiku Hauora and Whakawhiti Ora Pai are two of the frontline services providing COVID-19 vaccinations in Te Hiku o Te Ika. They have seen a good response, particularly when rangatahi eligibility was announced, but also understand vaccine hesitancy amongst whānau.

Joanne Urlich says "A couple of our registered nurses are happy to jump on a Zoom call with whānau if they'd be more comfortable to answer some of those questions or whānau can just pop into a vaccine clinic and someone will be happy to talk to them".
