History made in Te Waimate

Rukuwai went home to Te Waimate where Te Whiu became the first hapū to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Far North District Council to ensure the hapū and council work together in ensuring the mana whenua voice is heard and the best interest of the whenua is at the forefront of all decision making.
