At Te Mataini a haka tautoko is an expression of support for a kapa haka that have just finished performing on stage. We caught up with whanau members of kapa haka and lovers of kapa haka to learn about haka tautoko from their perspective. Tautoko means to support and when people get up to support a performing haka group, whanau do their best to reflect the peformances on stage with a mean haka.
