A new and increasingly popular Northland business, Platterful, has sourcing local food and minimising food wastage in its sights.
Platterful is a catering service based out of Whangarei with the ability to provide “light meal” platters for any group or event, from two to two hundred people.
The owner and platter creator, Molly Coutts, is young and ambitious but more importantly, has a thirst to do business “the right way”.
She talks about sourcing local cheeses, bread, fruit and more as well as making a comment on food wastage in New Zealand as a whole and what she hopes Platterful can do to contribute to the solution.
