Using Takaka Marble With Tai Meuli

March 24, 2018, 10 a.m.

After the earthquakes hit Wellington 10 years ago, Tai brought some Takaka Marble that use to line the wall of parliament. Marble that came from Takaka Hill (Marble Mountain) which divides Nelson and Golden Bay had reached national significance in the early 1900's, for the use of construction in the Parliment buildings in Wellington.

We follow Tai as he takes us on his journey to create art work with the rare Marble.
