Kamo Shaves For A Cure

May 9, 2018, 11:09 a.m.

Kamo High students and staff  aren’t the only people raising money, but they’re sure doing a good job! Shave for a Cure is a yearly event designed to fundraise for people living with blood cancer. Every year thousands of New Zealanders get sponsored to shave their heads for the worthy cause, while also raising the all important awareness that comes with it.  Kamo High School Teacher, Hannah Winter, talks about her brave students and why they’ve got involved. Kamo High School raised over $12,000 for the cause. More information can be found at https://shaveforacure.co.nz/
